For several years, I experienced significant symptoms from Interstitial Cystitis (IC). While I understood my own burden, I realized that the healthcare system, patient organizations, and authorities often do not fully recognize the everyday challenges of living with a chronic condition. Coping with IC goes beyond medications or surgeries, and sharing these experiences is important.
In 2010, feeling that I lacked adequate support, I decided to take charge of my own path. Together with a nutrition specialist, I developed a personal plan involving diet, supplements, exercise, and mental support. After five years of perseverance, I reached a stage where I feel stronger and healthier than ever.
Today, my goal is to support people living with chronic conditions, including IC, by sharing experiences and insights. Raising awareness about the impact of these conditions helps others understand the full scope of living with IC and highlights the importance of a supportive environment.
Chronic conditions involve complex factors, such as inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and nutrient depletion. Understanding these challenges helps raise awareness of life with IC. By sharing my story, I hope to provide visibility, recognition, and support for those affected.
